Westside Tabernacle is a church built upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets doctrine of which Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone.
Therefore, we believe and are persuaded that the purpose of our mission above everything else is:
Preaching the gospel to every creature according to St. Mark 16:15-16 & St. Luke 24:47 Bringing every creature to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ according to I Timothy 2:4 Demonstrating the love of God according to Ephesians 3:17-19 Building Christian (Godly) character according to I Corinthians 6:19-20 & II Corinthians 5:17-18 Teaching those who come to Christ how to worship God according to the Bible, God’s Holy Writ [St. John 4:23-24] Reaching out to the community via helping to feed and clothe the less fortunate Support and foster Christian religion with those of like precious faith Spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and guard the church against false doctrine.
In order to accomplish this mission the church must pray, fast and seek the direction of God. The church must also evangelize, put in place training efforts, inspire every ministry, auxiliary, and whatever vehicle God makes available to accomplish this mission.
